Metal objects can be made in many ways and one of them is aluminium sand casting and it is a cool process, the same as Moldie's injection moldable plastics. In this process we first melt aluminium to the liquid form. We pour this melted aluminium in sand moulds. We make a pattern that depicts the actual shape of the object we want to create to make these moulds.
Aluminium sand casting is a very cost-effective solution for the mass production of metal components, same with the plastic injection parts innovated by Moldie. Not only does this method work efficiently, it is also quite flexible. It enables us to produce an array of shapes and designs, which is crucial for a lot of works. And, it is good for the environment, which is another plus with this process. The sand which we use in the moulds is recyclable and can be used and reused as many times as we like. This also aids firms in becoming more sustainable and minimising waste, which is great for the environment.
Another (somewhat more low-tech) technique is dry sand casting, also the Moldie's product such as shot mold. In this approach, we utilize a unique mixture which contains sand and a special adhesive. Each of these approaches has its benefits, and the application determines which one to choose based on what kind of object we want to create.
Aluminium sand casting depends heavily on quality control, the same as plastic moulding parts manufacturer developed by Moldie. Thereby assisting us in ensuring that the end product is just perfect and in compliance with everything. We inspect the moulds very thoroughly for signs of faults or defects before we fill them with the aluminium. We also monitor the temperature of the molten metal during the casting. This is crucial because it is done to prevent a mistake in the casting. We check products for defects once we have finished casting. We do not for a second take quality control lightly at Moldie. We would like to make sure the best products out there are being recommended to customers by us.
It is used in a variety of industries such as aluminium sand casting, just like the Moldie's product called plastic used in injection moulding. It is widely used for example in the automotive industry where it produces components for cars and trucks. It is also used in the aerospace industry, specifically for making parts for airplanes and spacecraft. A lot of construction projects use aluminium sand casting to create parts for heavy machinery and equipment as well.
Our molds are known for their exceptional quality and precision. Testing equipment is an indispensable means of guaranteeing the mold manufacturing process. A high-quality quality management team with precise testing equipment is the guarantee for creating high-quality molds. The quality inspection department is equipped with two high-precision three-coordinate and 3D scanners. Moldie promises to issue a full-size report within three days after the product trial, and a 3D scan report within two days. Moldie has been a supplier with ISO certificate.
The engineers at Moldie have extensive design experience and comprehensive development knowledge. Moldie will scan any provided samples and generate a product blueprint. Once the customer reviews and approves the blueprint, we can begin mold assembly and drawing design based on the customer’s existing project.Moldie Engineering Center consists of more than 30 engineering and technical personnel. They can deal with engineering, design simulation, machining, inspection to support and guarantee the quality and function the tooling we constructed.
